Press Coverage of the Annual All-Star Irish-Rock Revue
- On the 6th and the 12th, Rogue's March will also host the 5th Annual All-Star Irish Rock Revue, also at the Knitting Factory. The event is so crammed with astonishing talent that they have to fit it into two nights. This reviewer has caught a couple of these annual shows over the years when they were at the Mercury Lounge, and I can personally attest to the fact that no St Patrick's Day weekend is complete without a stop at the Revue. --- IRISH VOICE
- This St Paddy's Day tradition, organized by our favorite Celtic-punk-lovin' Hurley will feature raucous music-making (covering everything from Thin Lizzy to the Undertones) and boozy camaraderie, including such delectable vocalists as Syd Straw, Tish 'n Snooky, and Willie Nile. --- VILLAGE VOICE
- It's an Irish-Rock night with Loser Lounger Hurley and his Rogue's March outfit. Guest vocalists will include a huge range of folks including producer extraordinaire Tony Visconti, Steve Wynn, Don Fleming, James Chance, Andy Shernoff, Mary Lee Kortes, Ivan Julian, Susan McKeown, and more. Go, Rolodex,go! --- TIME OUT NEW YORK
- Rogue's March, the Irish rock band led by Joe Hurley, mix traditional Irish instruments with the rowdiness of a rock band. Last year, it started its own St Patrick's tradition, the All-Star Irish Rock Revue. Tonight, after a set of its own songs about booze, wanderlust, and tough luck, it will bring on two dozen guests, including Tony Shanahan (from the Patti Smith Group), Martha Wainwright, Patti Rothberg and James Mastro. They'll be performing music by rockers from Thin Lizzy to Van Morrison to the Undertones to U2. --- NEW YORK TIMES
